NOTE: Since our builder uses green oak lumber on sheds and barns, sometimes this oak wood gets what’s called “enzymatic discoloration” / iron stain / blue stain (see pictures above). This is normal on green oak lumber and will not compromise structural integrity of the wood.  We also recommend to have your barn well ventilated to avoid any moisture accumulation and mold growth.  It’s also a good idea shortly after barn arrives to treat oak kickboards, etc. to prevent any mold growth.  Please see: BARN CARE for more information and maintenance recommendations.
